Exciting opportunity to join our growing Connect2staff Business Support recruitment team. You’ll be working for an established, professional recruitment team working alongside a Business Manager, a Temps Consultant, Marketing Consultant, Permanent Consultant and Resourcer Administrator. You’ll be an advocate of the Connect2Staff brand and grow our business through full 360 recruitment activity as a specialist in the Business Support Sector. This is a new desk and an amazing time to join the team. This is a busy, fast paced and varied role.

Your Role

Manage your desk as if it was your own business, delivering regular GM and being aware of missed / new opportunities by utilising your knowledge of the sector to identify, plan and lead on activities to grow your desk.

Maintaining relationships with clients supported by up to date in depth knowledge of your specialist sector and their business to anticipate and respond quickly to client need.

Recruitment of candidates for your specialist sector using a variety of candidate engagement activities in order to build and maintain relationships ensuring C2S is their ‘go to’ agency.

Fee negotiation with clients, keeping in mind the financial objectives of your desk and the business. Understand and report on the performance of your desk on a weekly or monthly basis as required and supporting the Managing Consultant with reporting the performance of your team.

Adhering to control measures and standards as required by our industry and/or your specialist sector, including the provision of compliant candidates and adhering to relevant policies, procedures and practices within our business.

Regularly seek feedback from clients on the suitability of candidates, monitoring their performance in a role and reporting the outcomes as required.  Also seeking feedback on the provision of our service and working with colleagues to address any areas of improvement.

Administration relating to your desk including ensuring the CRM system is up to date.


You Will Have

Understanding of the local market and how it impacts on what we do, coupled with an in depth knowledge of your specific sector.

Understanding of individual targets, KPI’s and ratios and how these impact on your desk and the Company targets.

Experience of building and developing successful and sustainable relationships with customers and candidates.

Use of a Recruitment CRM system including advert management, searches, vacancy management recording and placement recording.

Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages.

Problem solving both internally and for our customers

Handling difficult conversations with tact and integrity
